Why Therapy?

In the safety of the therapy room an opportunity is provided to explore those deeper, often hidden, parts of ourselves – to understand the deeper meaning below the surface of decisions and unique ways of being. When partnering with a therapist who offers focused and compassionate support, this process can afford individuals the challenging as well as rewarding experience of looking at oneself, others, and the circumstances of life in a different way than before. In essence, therapy gives those who seek it a chance to pause…to take the time to develop awareness amidst the chaos…and to move forward with greater clarity, power, and hope.

  I find that entering this process takes courage as well as an openness to inward growth and change. lt is an honor to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families who are willing to engage the challenges of living, understand themselves more fully, and embrace change with the hope of creating a life they desire to lead.
